Legend of Bill comic book issue #1 cover progress, website, guest strips, and my return to the fold!
Wednesday, June 17th, 2009The inks are done. The basic layout and design is done. I still need to tweak the wording at the bottom!
A sneek peak at the current progress on the LoB comic book cover for issue #1 - it’s still in rough stage minus color and such, but here’s a look at it so far! LoB colorist extraordinaire Josh Ulrich is coloring it as we speak. Will also post a broader view of the new LoB website design as well soon.
If you’ve wondered where the heck I’ve been from the strip, I’ve been cranking on the LoB comic book to get it out for pre-order asap, (news on that very soon), as well as the new website design, but also some other pressing artwork for large clients that I had to get taken care of, some of which includes animation, flash games, (as seen here at www.Roddenberry.com)
and other comics work, not to mention our kick-butt Garfield’s Pet Force website, DVD and game, which I helped create!
Anyhoo, I assure you I’m still here and have plenty of new LoB strips in the hopper (been working ahead to boot), and in the meantime, we have some great guest strips in the next few installements before I head back to the awesomeness that is Legend of Bill!!
See you soon, and remember to check back here in the sketcblog for all the juicy LoB news goodness!
Hm … I need a LoB newsletter… and a Legend of Bill newsletter editor. Any takers?
