The story so far: The Dark Queen did a switcheroo and is in Princess Gina’s body (seen here), and looking for her true love, Bill, our esteemed dufus barbarian (with his best pal and sidekick Frank, the blue dragon). Princess Gina, in the Dark Queen’s body, is looking for the Dark Queen, with the aid of the wizard Craven, in hopes of finding the Dark Queen before she finds Bill, because the Dark Underlord is looking for her too, and if he finds HER, he finds BILL, which would be bad. Oh, God. I need a valium now. But it’s all coming together like a pyramid of destruction, or, something… it all started at the bottom of the pyramid, but it’s nearing the tip-top… So what role does Sir Lance here play? Will we see him again? Has he been following Dark Queen Gina since he saw her in the Elmore Inn those many moons ago? Are his teeth really that white? Watch, wait and see… bwah-ha-ha…

Zak: LOL - thanks - and good eye on the gum! LOL. I always loved how, in old Mad Magazines, you;d see stuff like that. Gum, or tacks or whatnot on the bottom of a random shoe for no real reason, just FUNNY. Ah, the good ol’ days!

and the Dark Queen is sooooo close, yet sooooooo far from the target of her affections, if I read those silhouettes in the distance in panel #1 correctly (or are those supposed to be green-ish silhouettes exiting stage left) ..?

LOL! Poor ‘Princess Gina’ will nothing go right? As for Sir Lance I hope he has a good dental plan? Only one thing is for sure if & when ‘Gina’ & ‘ The dark Queen’ meet Bill he will somehow mess things up even more

Lol - Thanks, team! Yes, we haven’t seen the last of Sir Lance, I assure you. Methinks Princess (er, Dark Queen Gina) has a stalker, lol. I’m quite proud of the art, and Don, as always, sis a splendid job with the coloring. I was telling Don (actually, I was apologizing) that I seem to be getting more detailed in some of the strip and I’m not sure what’s going on, making it all the more *cough* FUN for him to color. lol. Next week we return to Bill & Frank… you know… the strips NAMESAKE? LOL
All is coming together.
And yes, that is Bill & Frank in the background (just barely). Poor Dark Queen Gina… soooo close…
and who compared Sir Lance to be taken down like a Colt by a Saint? Take that back! L O L!!!

david, to cap it off, Sir Lance should have had a shoe imprint in his face, to give it that Dark Queen/Princess Gina extra Oomph we all love.
@Pierre: LOL, that would really cap off my mental image of Sir Lance. Could use a little moustache to be Sir “Suave Frenchman” Lance.
