I will be a guest at Vulkon Entertainment’s Sci-Fi Expo in Orlando July 18-21, so if you are in the area, or if you want to get a ticket, come on out - I’d love to meet you! I will be joining my fellow guests Jonathan Frakes (Riker, TNG), Nana Visitor (DS9), Erick Avari (Stargate, etc), Kavan Smith (Stargate: Atlantis, SG1, 4400), John Schuck (Star Trek, etc), Gwynyth Walsh and Barbara March (the Duras Sisters from ST:TNG)!

Vulkon always throws an awesomely fun convention, and the karaoke night (which I shamelessly partake in) is worth the price of admission alone! HAHA. If you do happen to be there, look for my table in the autograph room amongst the other guests, and pop by for a caricature, and lots of freebies like buttons and my brand-new 2-sided Roddenberry comics FLIPPIE ANIMATION BOOKS!! OK, I cannot believe it has taken me this long to post some pix from my trip to LA for Wizard World LA back in March. All this drawin’ makes it hard to go through and size pictures!! But here are a few pix from the event, (I’ll post some more later, too if you wanna see ‘em!) where I had a table with the Roddenberry booth to promote my 2 webcomics I do for them “Gene’s Journal” and “Rod & Barry.” Enjoy!

While we’re talking conventions, I’ll be a guest again at the big giant Vegas con in August… here’s a piece I did for them in August 2006 that appeared in the program, on mugs, shirts and posters…

This year ‘ll be at the Roddenberry booth with Rod Roddenberry and Majel Barrett Roddenberry and the whole Roddenberry Productions team, a great bunch of friends and folks. I can’t wait!!

Here’s a “clip” out of a 2-page massive spread of a Star Trek: Voyager Board Game illustration I just completed last last week for the next issue of Star Trek Magazine. The illustration will show how Voyager found many “loopholes” in its voyage home and got there quicker, all in “board game” style. This was a lot of work and a LOT of fun. This is one segment out of the larger image (you’ll have to get the issue to see the rest. ) Additionally, in the issue, I will have a full page of fake retro Captain Proton ads (you’ll see - think old Captain Midnight and Buck Rogers from the 30’s), a full page ad for my Roddenberry.com comics that Roddenberry Productions took out 9that I designed), a Sunday-format double “The Trek Life” comic, and finally, my small tribute to Majel Barrett Roddenberry. It’ll be quite an issue - be sure to check it out when it hits news stands worldwide in the next month or so!
